Still Life Painting

I have created a number of still life drawings and paintings during my fine art career and over time they have become valuable in my overall repertoire.  Still life genre is my “go to” subject matter when I want a change of pace from my other work.  The magic of still life painting is that they can show us a new way of looking at the ordinary objects around us.  Edouard Manet once called still life “the touchstone of painting.”
